Here's how we work with you.
From the first conversation to the finished solution, we keep things clear, honest, and focused on your business.
First we listen. Then we build.
Every engagement begins with a conversation. We listen first, understand your business, and figure out where automation would actually help — not where it wouldn't.
The Walkthrough
A 45–60 minute conversation where we learn about your business — how things currently work, where the bottlenecks are, and what's costing you time or money. We come prepared with questions, and we share observations along the way. At the end, you receive a Walkthrough Report: a clear summary of what we found, where we see the highest-impact opportunities for automation, and our honest assessment of what's worth pursuing. The report is yours to keep regardless of whether you decide to work with us.
The Proposal
If the Walkthrough Report identifies opportunities worth pursuing, we come back with a proposal that ties directly to the findings — what we recommend building, why it matters for your business, how long it will take, and what it will cost. Fixed scope, fixed price, no open-ended billing. You'll see exactly what you're getting before any work begins.
The Work Begins
Once we agree on scope, we move into execution. Depending on what your business needs, the engagement takes one of three forms — a short proof-of-concept to test the approach, a full build to deliver a production-ready solution, or an ongoing advisory relationship. Each is described below.
Three ways to work together. You choose what fits.
Explore
If you're not sure yet.
A focused 2-week engagement to find where automation makes the biggest difference in your business.
You get a working proof of concept, so you see results before committing to a larger build. Most new clients begin here.
Typical engagement: under $10,000
Build
When you know what needs to happen.
A 1–6 month engagement to design, build, and deliver a production-ready solution.
Scope is defined upfront with clear milestones and fixed pricing. This is where most of our work happens.
Typical engagements: $20,000 to $100,000 depending on scope
Consult
A thinking partner for your business.
For clients who don't need us to build — they need someone to help them think through what to do.
Whether you're evaluating automation decisions, prioritizing where to invest, or working through a complex question, we serve as an ongoing advisor. Scope and cadence are shaped around your needs.
Pricing is customized based on the engagement
When you hire bg2, you're hiring us.
You work directly with the founders. No salespeople, no handoffs. Anjana and Priya are in every conversation and every build.
We build on your existing tools. No new software, no migrations. Whatever your team already uses — we work with it.
Every solution is custom. No product catalog. We look at your specific situation and build for it.
We prove it works before you commit. Most engagements start with a proof of concept. You see results before you sign up for more.
What does workflow automation actually look like?
Here are a few examples from our recent work with businesses across professional services, architecture, and operations-intensive industries:
A professional services firm was spending every Friday compiling project updates from emails, spreadsheets, and Slack messages into a single status report. It took one person most of the day. We automated the entire workflow — now the report builds itself by Monday morning, and that person spends Fridays on actual client work.
A growing business was generating leads at networking events and through referrals, but follow-up was inconsistent. Some leads got a call the next day. Others sat in a notebook for weeks. We built a simple capture-to-follow-up system that sends a personalized response within hours and keeps the pipeline visible. Response time went from days to same-day.
A business owner needed to make a hiring decision but couldn't get a clear picture of team workload, project margins, and pipeline without asking three different people to pull data from three different systems. We connected those systems into a single dashboard. Now the answer takes minutes, not meetings.
