Our Story
Some stories begin in boardrooms — ours began in a bungalow.
We first met in 1992 at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where we were classmates in the Master's in Engineering program. Ours was one of the largest groups of women that year, and since there weren't enough hostel rooms, we were housed in a lovely old bungalow — Bungalow No. 2, affectionately called BG2. That space became our home, our hub of ideas, and the start of a lifelong friendship that still shapes us today.
I'm Anjana. My journey has always been about connecting technology with human purpose. Over the years, I've led teams driving data, AI, and digital transformation — helping organizations use emerging tech to solve real problems. I'm passionate about making AI practical, accessible, and meaningful, not just powerful.
And I'm Priya. I spent over two decades at Oracle as a software engineer and automation architect before turning my focus to AI-powered automation for nonprofits and small businesses. At DIYA Research, I've helped design intelligent systems that simplify operations and empower educators and students. For me, technology has always been a creative tool for solving complex challenges with elegance.
After years of friendship, collaboration, and shared values, we decided to build something together — something that reflected both our technical depth and our belief in technology as a force for good. That's how BG2.ai was born.
BG2.ai isn't just a name; it's a tribute to where it all began. That little bungalow at IISc sparked our love for solving complex problems, and it continues to inspire how we approach every project today — with curiosity, clarity, and care.
